Adopt a Horned Puffin

Horned Puffin facts:

Found along the rocky coastlines of Alaska and Washington State, the horned puffin uses its short, pointed wings to “fly” underwater. Puffins are the northern hemisphere’s ecological equivalent to penguins, but unlike penguins, puffins can fly. Puffins spend most of their lives at sea, returning to shore only to breed. Diving for their food, they live on a diet of fish, squid and crustaceans. Horned puffins are at risk from habitat loss, climate change, and the introduction of rats to several nesting islands.
