Symbolic Adoptions Wallaby

Adopt a Wallaby

Wallaby

There are many wallaby species, usually classified by habitat, including shrub wallabies, brush wallabies, and rock wallabies. Members of the kangaroo family, wallabies are found mainly in Australia and nearby islands. They are marsupials or pouched mammals and young are born tiny and helpless. Immediately upon birth, they crawl into their mothers’ pouches where they continue to develop after birth—usually for a couple of months. Even after leaving the pouch, a young wallaby or joey might still jump in when it senses danger. Show More
