Interesting Species Fact
The leaf sheep, a sea slug, gets its name from its sheep-like appearance, with spiky green, leaf-shaped projections that help camouflage it among algae. It is able to use its diet to perform photosynthesis within its own body, allowing it to generate energy from sunlight, much like a plant.
